A good friend from way back, Carol MClellan (now Morley) is just about to move to Oz (Austrailia that is). She'll finally get to live in the same country as her new husband! Before she leaves, Carol wanted to collect some photos to keep with her when she's missing her family. The group was interested in some casual photos over lunch at Mi Ranchito in U City. Here is a sneak peak, McClellan-Morley family! Carol, I should have the final versions in mid January. Happy Holidays and buen viaje!

Engagement Photos: Heather and Dave
My friends Heather and Dave are engaged, so we all spent and afternoon at the City Museum working on some photos for them. Honestly, they made my job really easy as their stated photo anxiety channeled itself into spontaneous silliness - which made for some very fun shots. City Museum as well provided tons of variety and interesting props.
Heather, a graphic artist, took my raw files and did her own re-touching to get the exactly look she wanted. Wow, have I learned alot about where my skills in Photoshop need to grow! Here are some samples of our day below. The rest can be found here http://lynnehart.zenfolio.com/p435228734

New Family Addition!
The holidays, and a new addition to our family have had me a little distracted, but I'm back on the saddle. Meet Tonta, and if you speak spanish, yes, the name suits her well. Most unusual cat.

Engagements galore!
Seems like just about everyone is planning a wedding or expecting a baby these days, leaving lots of practice time for me. My friends Heather and Dave recently got engaged and wanted to do something fun and funky, they chose the city museum. We all had a lot of fun and ended up spending about 3 hours there on Sunday afternoon!

GrangerHome Photo Shoot
One of the coolest opportunities I've had recently is a model photo shoot for GrangerHome. GrangerHome is the studio of Christopher Granger who specializes in unique high-end hand wovens. The set up the lighting in a great construction space, wrangled models, makeup artists, and hair stylists and we went to town!
Our models were friends and volunteers as well as naturals! They did a fantastic job. Of course it was easy to make these scarves look great. I spent most of my time with Paula (first below) and Lauren. Here are a few of the shots that I still had on my memory card when I left!

Please leave me alone!!!
My very wonderful boyfriend, Alex, "volunteered" to be my model a couple of times. I think at this point I've worn out my welcome between dragging him through the Landing one evening .....

and making him put on a suit at the crack of dawn......

But, it was great practice for me, AND I got some great shots for my desk at work! Thank you my love!

¡Ay Chihuahua!
June 2008 - First trip out with the camera, Loba had a great time romping around without her leash in Tower Grove Park
She wasn't particularly fond of the daisies, nor the sun in her eyes, but didn't mind holding still for a few shots.
I'm not sure why but she always has her tongue out, so this one was not hard to catch at all.
Of course, after an hour or so, she started to get an attitude........aren't you done yet?

And it finally became clear that she was ready to go back home! We'll take her out another day in the future.
